Refund Policy

Scope

This policy applies to professional services booked through Portalhemlockcore Mining Review Co.: capacity planning consultations, equipment audits, power assessments, and cooling reviews. It does not apply to mining hardware, electricity, or third-party contractor work.

Deposit and Confirmation

Capacity planning engagements require a 30% deposit to hold dates. Day-rate audits bill 50% on booking and 50% on report delivery. Deposits confirm calendar reservation and preparatory scoping.

Full Refund Eligibility

You may receive a full refund of deposits or prepaid fees when:

• We cancel the engagement due to staff illness or force majeure
• You cancel at least 14 calendar days before the first scheduled on-site day
• We determine before the visit that the scoped work cannot be performed safely and offer no alternative date you accept

Partial Refund

If you cancel 7–13 days before the first on-site day, we retain 25% of the deposit to cover scheduling and preparation. If you cancel fewer than 7 days before, we retain 50% of the deposit.

If we complete a partial visit but cannot finish due to client-side access denial, day rates apply for time on site; remaining prepaid amounts for unperformed days are refunded.

Non-Refundable Items

• Work already performed on site
• Reports delivered in full
• Travel and accommodation expenses incurred or committed within the non-refundable cancellation window
• Rush surcharges once scoping has begun

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is available if requested at least 7 days before the visit. Additional reschedules within 7 days may incur a ₩150,000 administrative fee.

No-Shows

If our team arrives and cannot access the site within 60 minutes of the agreed start time without prior notice, the day is billed in full and no refund applies for that day.

Report Disputes

If you believe a deliverable omits scoped items, notify us within 10 business days of delivery. We will correct factual errors at no charge. Subjective disagreements with recommendations do not qualify for refunds.

Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are returned via the original bank transfer method within 14 business days. Korean bank fees, if any, are borne by us for full-refund cases; partial refunds may net of transfer fees where permitted.

Cancellation by Either Party Mid-Engagement

If either party ends a multi-day engagement early for reasons other than safety, fees apply for completed days and documented preparation. Unused prepaid amounts for future days are refunded.
